Randy
Kemmerer was born and raised in Fairfield County and has lived in
Liberty township for the last 10 years. He and his wife Yvonne have been
married for 34 years and have 3 sons Josh, Jordan and Jacob. Josh is a
firefighter/paramedic for Basil Joint Fire District. He and his wife
Kendra reside in Baltimore with their daughter Bentley and a baby boy on
the way due in May 2012. Jordan resides in Baltimore and owns his own
lawncare business, Kemmerer Lawn care. Jacob is a senior at The Ohio
State University where he is studying Agricultural Education. He and his
fiancée Jena, are getting married in July 2012.
Randy
graduated from Fairfield Union High school. His work experience includes
10 years at the Fairfield County Engineers Office. Randy recently
retired from Walnut Township as a road supervisor after 22 years of
service.
Randy
is also involved with the 4H clubs and serves as the assistant
superintendent for the swine committee. After 25 years as a 4H advisor,
Randy continues to spend time working with the kids of the Thurston
Future Farmers 4H club. Randy is a member of the Thurston United
Methodist Church and also the Fairfield County Farm Bureau.
His
goals as a trustee include:
To
provide better service for the tax payers of Liberty Township, such as
improving road safety and snow removal for the residents. To provide a
new and improved meeting facility, which was completed in 2011. And also
to identify ways to increase tax revenue without raising taxes for the
residents.
