Ivan
has lived and farmed in Liberty Township his entire life. He
and his wife Becky have two children. Betsy and her husband
Rob, along with their daughter Rachel live in Hilliard. Andy
and his wife Mindy and their children, Alison and Austin live on
the home farm where Ivan was reared.
He
is a graduate of Liberty Union High School and served in the Army
Reserves for six years. He is currently working for
Violet Township and also farming.
He
has served Liberty Township as a trustee since 1992 and currently
serves as a member of the Basil Joint Fire District Board
representing the trustees. He is a member of Christ UM
Church in Baltimore, a member of the Baltimore Lions Club having
served as president, and he is an active member of Farm Bureau
Council # 1.
His
goals as a trustee are to
provide better township roads, to have a better and larger service
shop for the road department, to provide a user friendly meeting
room, and to continue to answer the needs and concerns of the
citizens of Liberty Township to the best of his knowledge and
ability.

Dan has lived in Liberty Township all
his life. He is the sixth generation to do so. He is
married to Betsy. His son Robert, his wife Amanda and their
son, Case, live just next door. They all love living
here.
He is a Liberty Union-Thurston
graduate and an Ohio School of Banking at Ohio University graduate.
His work experience includes being a cashier, vice-president,
director and branch manager of a bank. He has been treasurer
and director of an oil company. He has been serving as the
clerk (fiscal officer) for Liberty Township since 1992. He is
currently finishing his term as president of the fair board and has
been a director since 1989. He has also been a farmer for most of
his life.
His
goals for Liberty Township are:

to preserve our history

to maintain a great place to live
and raise a family, and

to prepare Liberty Township for
our future generations.

Montell

Nancy
Montell is a twenty-seven year resident of Liberty Township.
Elected, January 2006, and is the first woman in our township
to hold this position. Nancy
currently represents Liberty Township at Fairfield County Regional
Planning and Fairfield County Health Department.
As a Registered Nurse and Registered Respiratory Therapist
her background consists of Hospice, Oncology, Radiation, Mentor for
Nursing and Respiratory Services. Her volunteer list spans over
fifty years and one of her favorite sayings is:
"The only disability in life is a bad attitude." By Scott
Hamilton.
Goals for our area are open communication, knowledgeable
leadership and
principles
in government. |

Tim, served his
country in the United States Army, has lived in Liberty Township for
greater than a decade and enjoys the rural atmosphere and
agricultural surroundings of our township.
He
is a graduate of Ohio State University, with specialties in
Social/Psychology and Marketing, and is a Life Member of the Ohio
State University Alumni Association.
Tim is a self-employed Manufacturer’s Representative and is
past president of the Ohio Home Furnishings Representatives.
His goals are to insure Liberty Township has a comprehensive
growth plan, to safeguard our standard of living and to see that
citizens of Liberty Township are heard and have a voice in their
government. |
