Residents are responsible for treating noxious weeds and should be aware of them. Specifically, the township has a lot of Johnson grass which is a noxious weed that is very aggressive and will take over farm fields, yards, etc. in a very short time if not controlled. Click here for a 2008 publication from the Ohio Department of Agriculture that provides more information on noxious weeds. Page 10 is specific to Johnson grass.
Please contact the Liberty Township Zoning Inspector for verification.
