It is the Policy of the Board of Liberty Township Trustees, Fairfield County, Ohio that openness leads to a better informed community and  in turn provides a more transparent government.  It is the policy of Liberty Township to adhere to the state of Ohio's Public Records Act (O.R.C. 149.43) as well as other state and federal laws.

 

Liberty Township officials may not create records for the public, but will provide records upon receiving a verbal or written request as long as the release is not prohibited by law.  Your request will be honored by contacting Dan Alt, Fiscal Officer of Liberty Township. 740-862-6691.

 

There will be a nominal fee for coping of records.
